Our Lavender and Flax Seed Hot/Cold Packs are compartmentalized to keep the flax from sliding to one side. The regular size pack is 5.5 inches wide and 20 inches long. We always use minky or soft n comfy fabric on the back side.
To heat, place on the microwave turntable (required) and heat for one minute. Take it out of the microwave and move the flax seed around and place back in for another minute. Never exceed 3 minutes in the microwave. Usually two 1 minute increments of hearing is sufficient.
To cool, place in ziploc bag and put in the freezer for at least 2 hours.
